They’re now Mr. and Mrs. Kyle Abbott, but will the newlyweds live happily ever after on The Young and the Restless? Or will a secret from Kyle’s past threaten the couple’s future together?
Viewers have learned that Kyle’s (Michael Mealor) keeping a BIG indiscretion from his bride Lola (Sasha Calle). While partying with an underage girl in the Big Apple, Kyle inadvertently contributed to the young woman nearly dying from alcohol poisoning! He also took a payoff to keep his mouth shut about it.
So far, Kyle’s kept this a secret from Lola, but with friends like Theo (Tyler Johnson) that might not be the case for long! “It’s something Kyle wants to keep under wraps,” Michael Mealor told TV Insider. “It doesn’t paint him in the best light.”
Mealor adds that Theo is someone he needs to watch. “Theo’s a bit of a survivor. Now, he has the power. He’s the one in control. He’s never been that [before] with Kyle. He enjoys having him in the palm of his hand. Theo doesn’t come from a family like the Abbotts. He does what it takes to allow himself to keep going and be successful.”
And let’s not forget about Summer (Hunter King), Kyle’s ex. She gave up part of her liver to help save Lola’s life, but that didn’t encourage Kyle to stay married to her. This is the groom’s second marriage this year! “Summer will always be a thorn in the relationship’s side,” Mealor muses.

“No matter how much Lola tries to calm herself or ease her mind or thoughts I think that will always be right there on the surface.
“What would happen if this secret gets out is up to the writers, but I think that most likely it would cause turmoil [in the marriage].”
