The Bold and the Beautiful has officially moved into their new studio. The show’s previous home was at Television City, where its sister soap The Young and the Restless is also filmed. B&B’s recent move means that the cast won’t be seeing their Y&R friends as often, and that has Y&R star Joshua Morrow upset.

Father and Son Time

After 38 years at Television City, B&B decided it was time for a change. In July, they taped their last episode at the famous studio, and it was a bittersweet occasion. Not only did the cast have to say goodbye to their old home, but also their pals at Y&R.

For Morrow, it meant less time he’d have to spend with his son Crew, who plays Will on B&B. In an interview with Soap Opera Digest, Morrow said he already misses his son.

“They just moved their studio, and man, I’m heartbroken by it. I absolutely loved seeing him in the hallway and grabbing lunch, and nothing made me feel better as a father to be able to do that. And then I blink and they’re gone.”

Last week, the B&B cast and crew celebrated their arrival to their new home at Sunset Las Palmas Studios.

While the move means Joshua and Crew won’t be seeing each other as often, the Y&R star is proud and supportive of his son. “I, obviously as his father, will always be there for him. But I know the times when he needs something from me, and it’s not very often. He’s very put together, very driven, very ambitious. He’s got his mother’s strong-mindedness and strong will. Sky’s the limit for this kid.”

With B&B and Y&R doing crossovers, maybe one day the father and son will be sharing scenes. Perhaps Will Spencer visits Genoa City, or Nick Newman plans a getaway to Los Angeles.
