The Young and the Restless has seen plenty of romantic couples in its 44-year history! The first episode introduced us to Sally and Snapper and today, we have couples including Nick and Chelsea; Sharon and Scott; and Ashley and Ravi!

Through The Eyes Of Love
Not surprisingly, legendary supercouple Victor (Eric Braeden) and Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) took the majority of your votes with 45%! The pairing of the self-made man and the ex-stripper captured viewers hearts from the beginning.
While Victor and Nikki have wed, divorced, and wed again more times than we can recall, fans remain invested in them whether the couple is together or apart. The first time Victor and Nikki split was in the late ’80s when they divorced over reports of Ashley aborting Victor’s baby went public.
Still, viewers knew the chemistry between the divorced duo couldn’t be denied, even as they entered other unions, Victor with Hope and later, Diane; Nikki with Brad and later, Joshua Landers, her gynecologist.
Nick and Sharon
Coming in second are Nick and Sharon with an impressive 32%. The couple endured many obstacles including Sharon’s rape, Nick’s imprisonment, his affair with Grace, and more.

But the one thing that they never got past was the death of their daughter Cassie. Nick drifted into an affair with Phyllis. Sharon, who’s been diagnosed as bi-polar, had affairs and marriages with both Victor and Adam.
It would take a powerful story to reunite these two, but fans still want it to happen. Nick’s initial jealousy over Scott, Sharon’s new beau, shows that he still cares about her deeply.

Many other couples received votes from you including Cane and Lily with 13% (take that, Juliet!) and Chris and Paul with 6% (sorry, Danny!) Additional duos received some votes including Lauren and Michael; Billy and Victoria; and Chelsea and Adam.
What’s interesting is that some of these couples aren’t together right now, but that’s what makes viewers tuning back in day after day. They love going on the journey to watch true love win out time and time again!
