On the February 27 episode of The Young and the Restless, Sharon and Phyllis were forced to call Nick and Summer to tell them they were fine so their families would stop looking for them. Now they just have each other to lean on and beat their captor, whom Phyllis suspects is pitting them head to head in a battle to the death. Who would do something like this? We have suggestions.

Last One In, First One Out

Ian (Ray Wise) was the most recent figure to torment them, not including Jordan (Colleen Zenk). Sure, he’s dead (or is he?). But since when does that mean anything in Genoa City? He wanted to frame Sharon (Sharon Case) for killing Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) or frame Phyllis for killing Sharon. This way, he could let them decide.

Get Out of My Head

Sharon spent weeks talking to Ghost Cameron (Linden Ashby). She eventually admitted she was imagining him.

But what if she wasn’t? What if he was really there? When his gaslighting didn’t drive her completely over the edge, he let Phyllis finish the job.

Blast from the Past

How about Patty Williams (Stacy Haiduk)? She’s crazy. Yeah…that’s all we’ve got for her. But, considering how this show is currently written, it could be enough.

Useless Man

Phyllis’ most recent victim is Billy (Jason Thompson). She convinced him to do business with her. Well, what if Billy changed his mind?

Most people would just send a text. But Billy always has to find the most difficult and least productive way to do anything. This would be it for him.

Legend in his Own Mind

Then again, it’s probably Victor (Eric Braeden). It has to be. Victor is the smartest man in town, the only one capable of pulling off such a diabolical plan. He is sick and tired of those damn women messing up his precious Nick’s (Joshua Morrow) life.

Plus, he’s still angry that Michael (Christian Le Blanc) and Cole (J. Eddie Peck) wouldn’t let him keep Jordan prisoner indefinitely. Party poopers. Victor will make up for it with not one but two new hostages. So there!
