On the February 10 episode of The Young and the Restless, Victor advised Claire that Kyle and Summer would always be connected through Harrison. He then waxed poetic to Summer about how wonderful it was that Adam and Chelsea were living in the same house—for Connor’s sake. Nick demanded to know what his dad was up to. We think we know:
It Is Decided
Victor (Eric Braeden) has spoken! He hates Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman). Thus, he hates Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor). Beloved granddaughter Claire (Hayley Erin) must break up with him. Beloved granddaughter Summer (Allison Lanier) must reunite with him. Because…reasons.
And those reasons are: Victor has spoken. If they don’t listen to his edict. Victor will be forced to take matters into his own hands. Here’s how he could do it…

Bait and Switch
Summer told Victor she would not be moving into the Abbott Mansion with Kyle. Not even for her beloved Harrison (Redding Munsell). But what if…Victor pulled some strings and waved his fingers in a magical way (mostly by throwing around money; money is Victor’s magic), and Kyle was to receive the tragic news that the paternity test Tara ran on Harrison back in the day was faked and Kyle isn’t Harrison’s father, after all? Kyle has no rights to the boy. Kyle would be devastated.
If Tara were to come back and try and claim her son, he wouldn’t have a legal leg to stand on. The only thing Kyle would have going for him would be if he could offer Harrison a better home than single mom Tara. You know, could he perhaps offer the lad a two-parent home with Summer?

Under Pressure
Surely, Summer wouldn’t want Kyle to lose Harrison not just for Kyle’s sake but for her own. She has no claims on the tot, either. Her only claim is through Kyle. The only way they could keep Harrison from Tara would be if they were to join forces. And Summer were to move into Kyle’s house. Sorry, Claire-bear, you understand, it’s FOR HARRISON. If you were to object, you’d only sound petty and child-hating. So step aside, honey. Victor has spoken….
