Alyvia Alyn Lind, who recurs as Faith Newman on The Young and the Restless, continues to be one of Hollywood’s busiest actresses!
The young performer has now joined the cast of a new series on Netflix.
Lind will appear in the series Daybreak, based on the graphic novel by Brian Ralph. The story features teen outcast Josh, who is on the hunt to find his missing girlfriend in a post-apocalyptic world. Watch for him to battle zombie-like monsters known as “Ghoulies.”
The Y&R star will play Angelica, who’s described as an “abrasive pyromaniac.” Josh will mistake Angelica for his sister Sam and ends up saving her when she’s in danger. Angelica’s penchant for making Molotov cocktails will come in handy!
According to published reports, filming is set to go through April 2019. The series is set to run for 10 episodes.

No word yet on how, if at all, Daybreak’s shooting schedule will impact Lind’s time as Faith. In the past, Faith’s absence has been explained away by saying she’s at camp.
