Soap opera stories either crawl or fly by, meaning that sometimes we have to miss big developments. Never fear, Soap Hub is here to fill you in on what you missed last week on The Young and the Restless.

The Death of a Titan

On the heels of Victor’s (Eric Braeden) shocking collapse came word that the Newman family patriarch is dead. The decree was heard throughout the land and the denizen’s of Genoa City were left to ponder the impact that the man had on their lives.

Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) and Nicholas (Joshua Morrow) are sure that Adam (Mark Grossman) was responsible for Victor’s sudden turn for the worse and they make their accusations known to every person they come into contact with including the chief of Police. And since the family assumed that Paul (Doug Davidson) was at their beck and call they insist he brings Victor’s killer to justice.

Inner Demons

With the support of his pseudo-wife, Billy (Jason Thompson) was able to do battle with his darker half and emerge victoriously. Now free of his alter’s influence, Billy was sure he and Victoria (Amelia Heinle) could move forward and solidify their union even further.

Seeing Double

Another Genoa City-ite ready to do battle was Devon (Bryton James), who eagerly anticipated the arrival of Amanda Sinclair, the attorney representing the complaintant out to challenge Katherine’s bequests.

However, no amount of mental preparedness is able to counteract the shock Devon suffers when he opens the door to a woman who looks exactly like Hilary.

Frame-Up

Paul’s investigation into Victor’s passing revealed that the body contained double the dosage of prescribed medication so he deems the death suspicious and begins investigating Adam.

He and Rey (Jordi Vilasuso) cornered the shady pharmacist who doctored the pills but upon questioning, she said that Victoria was the one who hired her to mess with the prescription. A search of Vicky’s office uncovered a pill bottle belonging to Victor and Nate’s stolen laptop.

Accusations

A rattled Devon allowed Amanda (Mishael Morgan) into his apartment where she revealed that the purpose of her visit is to inform him that a confession from Katherine’s lawyer had surfaced in which the man said Tucker paid him to alter Katherine’s will to favor Devon.

Devon refused to humor the accusation and instead insinuated that she and Chance were conning him especially considering her visage is exactly that of his dead wife. Amanda beat a hasty retreat but Devon swore to get to the bottom of what was going on. The Young and the Restless airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
