Sean Dominic, and Michael Mealor’s Cop Drama
It was a busy week for the Y&R cast with the Daytime Emmys and Halloween. Although many of the talent stars were busy prepping for the awards show, they did find time to enjoy some on set Halloween fun.
For Mealor and Dominic, they took a trip back to the 80s by putting their own spin on Miami Vice. In a video from Y&R Insider’s Instagram, the actors showed off their best impersonations of Crockett and Tubbs.
Phil Collins’ “Take Me Home” plays as Dominic enters the GCAC, dressed in a sharp-looking suit. Upon seeing Mealor sitting at the bar, Dominic joins him. “Fancy meeting you here,” Mealor lip-syncs Don Johnson’s famous line.
Mealor and Dominic’s version of Miami Vice has the approval of Mealor’s onscreen mom, Susan Walters. “This is excellent!!!” the actress commented.

Kyle and Nate leaving their professions to become detectives would be interesting but unlikely. Nate just returned to his true passion, medicine, after undergoing surgery to repair his injured hand. Meanwhile, Kyle is content with his role at Jabot and helping his family’s company in their battle against Newman.
But one thing that they do have in common with Crockett and Tubbs is they’re all ladies’ men. Kyle and Nate have no trouble attracting women, and they’re both in romances at the moment.
Nate is dating his mom’s friend/colleague Stephanie (Vivica A. Fox), who encouraged him to return to medicine. As for Kyle, he’s in a secretive romance with Victoria (Amelia Heinle).
Although things are going well for Kyle and Nate, romantic wise, like their relationships are soon to be filled with drama. Hopefully, it won’t be as heartbreaking and chaotic as Crockett and Tubbs’ romances were.
