Get ready, Genoa City — Amanda Sinclair is going to be coming by for a visit or at least that’s what her portrayer, Mishael Morgan, has said. That’s right, the Daytime Emmy winner is coming back to her old stomping grounds at The Young and the Restless.
Fun Times Ahead
A post from Michelle Stafford (Phyllis) got the ball rolling when she shared on Instagram an image of the two, who play Genoa City besties, hanging out in the Y&R parking lot with the Television City building behind them. The caption simply read, “Super homies 👯♀️”
That got fans excited, speculating that perhaps Morgan would be returning to the show (recall what she said about her Y&R status here) where she started in as Hilary, Amanda’s twin, back in 2013. The actress put an end to the speculation a couple of hours later when she shared an Instagram, using the Taylor Swift song, “…Ready For It” as she showed her wardrobe, marked “Amanda” and wrote in the caption, “Guess who’s popping in for a visit!!! #YR.”

Several co-workers chimed in with comments, including her onscreen mom, Ptosha Storey (Naya), who wrote, “Yay!” Lauralee Bell (Christine) said, “So happy to see your beautiful face today ❤️.”
Will she be interacting with her ex-boyfriend, Devon (Bryton James) and his new lady Abby (Melissa Ordway)? Ordway may have given a hint with her comment on the post saying, “Love our Amanda/Abby dynamic ❤️❤️❤️” Is there still conflict between the two women over Devon? Will this be more than a one-day appearance or something even longer? You’ll have to tune in to find out.
Morgan has been keeping busy since leaving the CBS soap. She’s starred in two Christmas movies which were seen last year — Sworn Justice: Taken Before Christmas and Christmas With A Kiss. She also did the Tubi thriller, Dress For Success.
