The Young and the Restless kicks off its 50th anniversary this week, and as part of the momentous occasion, many of your favorites reminisced about some of their all-time favorite scenes. These iconic moments in Y&R history are this week’s Flashback Friday.

Young and the Restless: 50 Years Of Memorable Moments

Last week, Soap Hub covered the first several clips from beloved stars like Melody Thomas Scott (Nikki), Eric Braeden (Victor), Jess Walton (Jill), and Peter Bergman (Jack), to name just a few, and you can see it here.

This week kicks off with Joshua Morrow. His scene featured a shockingly young Nick as he found out from Matt Clark that Sharon (Sharon Case) had a baby. The two got into a big fistfight.

Next, Sharon Case revealed one of her favorite scenes, and it was the time that Nick planned an elaborate Arabian Nights-themed evening for himself and Sharon.

Michelle Stafford revealed one of her favorite moments as Phyllis. In the scene, Phyllis confronted Christine (Lauralee Bell) over paying her respects to Danny’s (Michael Damian) father. Of course, Phyllis had crashed her father-in-law’s funeral, which didn’t make Danny too happy.

Next, Christian Le Blanc revealed a moment he absolutely loved being Michael in Genoa City. In it, Nick and Phyllis dug through a dump, trying to find proof — a black bag with stars — that Daniel (Michael Graziadei) was innocent. Michael and Lauren showed up to help, wearing hazmat suits. Before long, many others came too.

For Camryn Grimes, her favorite moment was the death of her first Y&R character, Cassie (and her current character, Mariah’s twin).

Susan Walters revealed a memorable moment of her time as Diane Jenkins. It was when Phyllis miscalculated, rubbing the fact that she and Jack had enjoyed adult time together upstairs at The Grand Phoenix and rubbed it in Jack’s (Peter Bergman) face.

The actress who portrays Lily, Christel Khalil, pointed to a scene where Cane (Daniel Goddard) shaved her head when she was fighting cancer.

Which one of these was your favorite? Or is there another scene that you hold especially dear? Let us know in the comments section below.
