Soap veteran, Brian Gaskill has a new film, A Reluctant Heart, available to stream just in time for Valentine’s Day, but it might not be all hearts, roses, and chocolates. Soap Hub got to talk with him about the exciting new offering.
From Soaps To Screen
Gaskill began his soap opera journey in 1994 on the primetime soap Models Inc., where he played David Michaels. Soon after that show ended, Brian joined the daytime community as Bobby Warner on All My Children from 1995-1998. After a three-year break, Gaskill returned to daytime, playing the role of Rafe Kovitch on Port Charles from 2001-2003. From there, he jumped to The Bold and the Beautiful (Ozzy, 2003-2005); As The World Turns (B.J., 2005); Guiding Light (Dylan, 2007-2008), and after a sixteen-year hiatus, he made a return to the soap scene in 2024 when he joined The Young and the Restless as Seth Morgan.
His new film, A Reluctant Heart, is available to stream or purchase now on Google Play, Fandango at Home, Apple +, Dish Network, DIRECTV, Amazon Prime, and more. He stars as the lead character, Paul. Here is a synopsis of the film: When Claire arrives in Paul Bachelor’s close-knit town, they find hope in rebuilding their broken lives while joining forces to uplift the community. However, Claire’s spiteful ex-husband is determined to stand in their way—no matter the cost. You can view the trailer here.
