The Young and the Restless seemed to be telling us something on Friday when the YRInsider Twitter account posted a pic to its official Twitter account with Eileen Davidson back on set with Peter Bergman (Jack) — a pic found on the actress’ Instagram.
Since Davidson has been back several times since she initially left the soap last fall, many assumed this is another one-off appearance and Ashley will return to Paris and her new cosmetics company.
However, an Instagram post from Melody Thomas Scott has many wondering if Davidson is back to an extended stay.
Thomas Scott, who is happily brand-new to Instagram, began posting nostalgia shots this past weekend and one was from the 80s of the Nikki/Victor/Ashley triangle.
She did this in honor of Davidson’s birthday, which was on Saturday, June 15. In a post of birthday wishes, Thomas Scott also said, “So glad to have you back where you belong.”
While not a confirmation, this does seem that when Ashley makes her next Genoa City return, she won’t be going anywhere anytime soon.

Having Jack and Ashley compete with their own companies in the same town certainly would make things a whole lot more interesting in the cosmetic corporate wars of Genoa City.
