On the October 29 episode of The Young and the Restless, Victoria dreamed that Billy found out about her and Kyle — and that not only did he read her the riot act, but Kyle turned on her too. Billy guessed at Victoria and Kyle’s motives for their affair. And it made us wonder… could Kyle be smarter than we ever gave him credit for?
Key Takeaways
- Kyle has never made a good decision in his life.
- Kyle can’t explain why he’s with Victoria beyond just having a good time.
- Could Victoria’s imaginary Billy have guessed at Kyle’s real motive?
Kyle’s Track Record Isn’t Good
Kyle (Michael Mealor) has never been a bright boy. Despite insisting that he worked so, so hard to earn his CEO of Jabot role, we know he’s just a spoiled nepo-baby. His business decisions have never set the world on fire, and he’s been manipulated by pretty much every woman in his life… right before he did something dumb to drive them away.
So we have a hard time imagining him as a mastermind. But Victoria’s (Amelia Heinle) fears got us thinking.
Victoria Imagines Billy’s Reaction to Her and Kyle
When Victoria worried about what Billy (Jason Thompson) would say when he walked in on her and a shirtless Kyle, one of the things that jumped out at us was Billy’s claim that the affair would kill Victor (Eric Braeden).
Could this have been Kyle’s plan from the start? At best, we thought he was after Newman Enterprises secrets. But what if he was actually looking to take Victor out, once and for all?
A nice heart attack or stroke would remove him from the Newman-Abbot feud for good. That doesn’t sound like something Kyle would be capable of thinking of. But maybe Victoria’s subconscious knows him better than we do.
