Jordi Vilasuso has entertained daytime fans for decades in his roles as Dario Hernandez on Days of our Lives and Rey Rosales on The Young and the Restless, among others. In his real life, the star is preparing for a New Year’s Eve surprise in the form of a new bundle of joy!
Jordi Vilasuso’s Family Is Growing
Soap vet Jordi took to Instagram today to announce he and wife Kaitlin Vilasuso are in the hospital and awaiting the arrival of their third daughter (read more about the pregnancy announcement here). This is an exciting time for the family and a great way to end 2023.
The actor wrote; “It looks like we are in for one more surprise before we ring in the new year! Baby girl is a bit early (35 weeks) but we are so blessed that we were able to make it this far. What a miracle! Thank you for each prayer that has been sent up for our family and we ask for one more as this little lady comes into the world! God bless you all! P.S. my wife has been and continues to be so strong and faithful. I’ve been in awe of how you’ve been able to keep your and our spirits high throughout this arduous and joyous journey…you will forever be my Katie girl…LOVE YOU SO MUCH!!”

In addition to his time on DAYS, and Y&R, Jordi graced the small screen on Guiding Light (Tony Santos) and All My Children (Dr. Griffin Castillo). Fans may recognize Kaitlin for her role as Becky Mae in the 2013 film Watercolor Postcards. Her other credits include the films Scavengers, Kickin’ It, and her portrayal as teenage Aileen in the movie Monster.
