TMZ reported that Bach, who was David Hasselhoff’s (Snapper) ex-wife, was found in her home. Family members hadn’t heard from her in a while, so they asked the police to check. They found her there dead of a self-inflicted gunshot wound. Authorities did not find a note.

Bach was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma on October 16, 1963. After high school at Tulsa East Central High School, Bach studied Engineering/Theatre Arts at Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College. In 1985, she moved to Los Angeles.

In addition to Y&R, Bach appeared in Baywatch and Knight Rider, in which Hasselhoff also had roles on. The two did not appear on Y&R at the same time. Other credits include Rumble Fish, Cheers, Baywatch Nights, Viper, and Missing. Her last role came in 2015’s Mansion of Blood.

Hasselhoff told the outlet, “Our family is deeply saddened by the recent passing of Pamela Hasselhoff. We are grateful for the outpouring of love and support during this difficult time but we kindly request privacy as we grieve and navigate through this challenging time.”

Hasselhoff and Bach were married from 1989 to 2006. Bach’s rep, Sharon Kelly, said, “I am in shock and still processing the loss of my dear client, Pamela Bach-Hasselhoff. Pamela was a ‘Force of Nature’ … She will be missed.

“My heart goes out to her family, her beautiful daughters and granddaughter who Pamela constantly gushes about and loves so dearly. Pamela often talked about how very proud she was of both her daughters and what they have blossomed into. She was a ‘Proud Mama’!”

Soap Hub sends its deepest condolences to Bach’s family, friends, and fans at this difficult time.
