They’re kind of still there on The Young and the Restless, although you may hardly know it.
Michael (Christian J. LeBlanc) pops up every time someone is accused of a crime… or just wants to talk about what might happen should they be accused of one (hypothetically).
And Lauren (Tracey Bregman) is in some kind of business with Jabot and Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) that requires six-inch stiletto heels at work.
But are you itching to see more of Michael and Lauren together as a romantic couple? Here’s where over 13,000 fans stand.
Of course, we do, 82% cheer. There’s more to life than work! That’s what love in the afternoon is all about!
If Victor (Eric Braeden) and Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott), who function as the reigning Genoa City old married couple, can still have romantic scenes where they gaze into each other’s eyes and tell each other how wonderful they are, why can’t Michael and Lauren get the same treatment?
Especially now that Lauren’s grown son is out of town, and her age is, once again, more nebulous.

Where is Michael and Lauren’s son, Fen? He could be a nice addition to the Kyle (Michael Mealor), Summer (Hunter King), Mariah (Camryn Grimes), Abby (Melissa Ordway) young people scene… and give his parents something to do outside of the old salt mine.
Good Enough
Then again, 17% of you like things just the way they are. Michael can play legal eagle, and Lauren can do… whatever. They can each pop up every couple of weeks to remind us that they exist and that the Fenmore and Baldwin (Fisher) families were once a thing.
But let’s be honest: Happy couples on soaps are boring, and the only way for Lauren and Michael to get a story is if they have problems. And you don’t want to see that, either.
