Daytime soaps are known for love in the afternoon, but when it’s your daughter’s hot scene being splashed in a promo for The Young and the Restless (YR), it may get a different reaction than the average fan — at least it did for Melissa Claire Egan.
Egan’s Chelsea Newman has certainly had her fair share of romantic love scenes to play both in and out of the bedroom (and sometimes in a shower), and while fans may love it, it might be a bit harder on an actor’s family.
Then again, they may just take it in stride — with a snarky comment, of course. So was the case recently when Egan decided to show her parents the latest promos for both The Young and the Restless and The Bold and the Beautiful.
