How many times have Phyllis and Nick broken up, made up, then did it all over again on The Young and the Restless?
This is a couple that got together when Nick (Joshua Morrow) cheated on then-wife Sharon (Sharon Case) with Phyllis (Gina Tognoni). Now, they’re together again because Sharon exposed them sleeping together while she and Nick were engaged and Phyllis was living with Billy (Jason Thompson).
Phyllis has this fantasy of her and Nick being Genoa City’s favorite power couple, and Nick has never been good at being alone.
He’s already asked his ex-wife to move in with him (and Christian). And Phyllis said yes. And the kids are confused. Will Phick stick this time? How over 5,000 reacted to this very familiar scenario.
Not Again!
For 90%, this is a bumpy ride at a rodeo you never want to go to again. Been there, done that, watched it fall apart. The only difference is that this time, no one is pretending to be romantic.
This is a clear-eyed, practical decision. Except for the fact that Nick still wants Sharon, and Phyllis, even if she won’t admit it post-Summer (Hunter King) debacle – still loves Billy.
That’s not very practical. That’s pretty desperate. And, just like before, it has no chance of working out.

Getting It Right
A tiny 10% of you, however, refuse to give up hope. Phyllis and Nick are your meant-to-be couple, the one that should be together, even when they’re hooking up with that insipid Sharon and weak-willed Billy.
Sharon doesn’t like the new Nick. Phyllis finds him sexy. Billy can’t be honest with Phyllis. Nick lays it all out for her.
They are a much better match. And maybe having her mommy and daddy back together will nip Summer’s new brat act in the bud. It’s a win-win!
