Lauren Koslow is trading Salem for Genoa City. The Days of Our Lives actress is filling in for Jess Walton as Jill in a multi-episode arc that kicked off on Monday, June 29th. Although it would be a challenge, Koslow jumped at the chance to return to the former stomping grounds at The Young and the Restless.

‘Special Place My Heart’
Soap fans are familiar with Koslow playing Kate on DAYS. But long before stepping into the Salem role, the actress portrayed Lindsey Wells on Y&R.
Lindsey was an ex of Jack’s (Peter Bergman), who took illicit photos of him and Jill when they were having an affair. Lindsey used the photos to blackmail the couple to further her career. However, her scheme fell apart when Jack and Jill’s affair was exposed, and soon after, Lindsey left Genoa City.
After her departure from Y&R, Koslow went on to play Margo on The Bold and the Beautiful from 1987 to 1992. Then, in 1996, she took over the role of Kate on DAYS.
Now, Koslow is returning to her roots by filling in as Jill on Y&R. Although it was a challenge taking over for Walton, Koslow couldn’t resist the big opportunity.

Being back on set was a joyous experience for Koslow. “It’s something that I didn’t think would probably ever happen, but it was so positive. It brought back so many wonderful memories.”
Reunited With Former Co-Star
Koslow’s stint as Jill reunited her with her former DAYS co-star, Billy Flynn. Flynn portrayed Chad on the Peacock drama from 2014 to 2026. As DAYS fans might remember, Kate became a mother figure to Chad.
Now, as Jill, Koslow is once again playing Flynn’s mother. Jill returns to Genoa City to try to ease the tension between her sons, Cane and Billy (Jason Thompson). However, that doesn’t go so well when Jill reveals why she doesn’t trust Billy to run Chancellor.
Jill and Billy’s relationship has become fractured over the years. Billy’s reckless behavior and Jill’s inability to trust him, especially with Chancellor, strained the mother and son.
Now that Jill has finally revealed her true feelings, things might get worse for them. Although Billy claims his priorities have changed, it’s obvious he’s still obsessed with Chancellor.
With Billy becoming determined to get Chancellor, it’s going to cause more issues between him and Jill.
