Lily makes three when it comes to Devon and Hilary having a baby together on The Young and the Restless (YR).
In case her tantrums haven’t made it clear, Lily (Christel Khalil) is really, really against Devon (Bryton James) and Hilary (Mishael Morgan) planning to co-parent together, even as both swear that nothing romantic will develop.
The question is, how far will Lily go to keep it from happening?
Founding Fathers
Genoa City has a long history of sperm banks with, shall we say, lax security. Ashley (Eileen Davidson) had no problem getting her hands on Victor’s (Eric Braeden) deposit so that she could conceive Abby (Melissa Ordway).
It was a little tougher for Diane, who thought she was getting the same withdrawal, but ended up with Jack’s (Peter Bergman) son, Kyle, instead.
So if Lily wants to pull a switch-a-roo to make sure her brother isn’t tied to his scheming ex-wife for life, a GC doctor’s office would be the best place to get away with it.
Who’s the Daddy?
Whose sperm will Lily substitute, though? Sure, she could just use some random guy’s, but what’s the fun in that? It’s a soap! You know it’s going to be somebody already on the canvas. (Or planning to return, shortly.)

Victor already has more children than he knows what to do with, including Nick (Joshua Morrow), who disowned him.
Jack is an interesting possibility, as he and Hilary have always gotten each other, and a baby could finally lead to the romance many fans have been rooting for.
Closer To Home
But what about Cane (Daniel Goddard)? Since Charlie and Mattie were carried by a surrogate, his genetic material might still be sitting around in a test-tube somewhere. Heck, for all we know, that’s how Juliet (Laur Allen) pulled off conceiving baby Sam. (Sure, that’s not what we saw on-screen, but history, shmistory.)
What if… Lily thinks she’s making it so Hilary gets pregnant by some random guy… but it really turns out to be Lily’s husband….
