Now that Chelsea is on her way out the door, this coupling is about to come to an abrupt end, leaving some The Young and the Restless fans wondering what could have been.
So, Soap Hub asked what your hopes were for Nick and Chelsea BEFORE she turned back to her old ways.
Daddy Daze
The majority of you, over 72%, want Christian’s true paternity (Adam’s his dad) to come out. This shows that most of you simply don’t like secrets! And hey, maybe it will before Chelsea goes wherever it is she goes.
Or, this could be one of those secrets kept for years on end. You wanted to see the fallout between Nick and Chelsea if this does come out soon, but it might be a few quick scenes and that’s it.
And, it already looks like someone out there wants to taunt Chelsea with the truth, so what will she do about it?

Nearly 18% of you wanted Nick and Chelsea to get married.
Of course, you would have expected Nick to make sure Chelsea signed a premarital agreement given her con artist ways. But alas, if they do wed, it looks like the marriage could be over before it truly begins.
Outside Forces
The rest of you feel that either an outside force (over 5% of the vote) or a breakup (over 4%) is the way things should have gone all along. Nick’s been involved with many women on Y&R and a lot of people hope he and Sharon (Sharon Case) end up back together. With Chelsea leaving, they may get their wish sooner than later.
