Soap Hub reported that a friend of The Young and the Restless‘ Melissa Claire Egan had her dog stolen in Beverly Hills on Sunday.
Egan, who plays Chelsea Newman on Y&R, took to social media to help bring the dog, Chucky, home to his owners and Soap Hub picked up the story, hoping to spread awareness.
We can now happily share that Chucky has been returned to his rightful owners!

According to the grateful and relieved owner’s post, the dog has is home safe. The person who brought the dog home did not ask for the reward money. The owner said the woman who reunited Chucky with his owners didn’t want any problems.
