Kevin left Genoa City under a bit of a cloud and that cloud is still swirling over his head on The Young and the Restless (YR).
Most Genoa City residents believe the grief-stricken computer programmer left town with Bella after learning that the love of his life, Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson), had killed Adam, and then herself.
Viewers know that Victor (Eric Braeden) helped Chloe fake her death, then sent her and Kevin off to live happily ever after with Bella – and far away from him.
However, Victor’s hold on Kevin (Greg Rikaart) led to him blackmailing Kevin into hacking into Nick’s (Joshua Morrow) bank account and stealing his money. So, you know, Kevin’s still available for special occasions.
But would fans prefer him back for good? Here’s what almost 10,000 viewers had to say about it:

Yes, please, 72% of you shout! Kevin has family in Genoa City. Michael (Christian J. Le Blanc) and Gloria (Judith Chapman) miss him. Plus, let’s discuss his stupid plan. Kevin and Chloe didn’t tell Esther (Kate Linder) that her daughter is still alive (which is a level of cruelty no one, not even the annoying Esther, deserves).

But Esther still keeps in touch with Bella. How long is a toddler supposed to keep lying to her grandmother? Especially when Chloe and Kevin promised Bella a baby brother or sister. Is she supposed to lie to Esther about that, too? How will they explain it otherwise?
Their plan is simply not viable for the long term. So the sooner Kevin – and Chloe – return to Genoa City, the better.
Stay Out
We don’t really notice he’s gone, a minority 27% confess. Kevin and Chloe got their ‘happily ever after’–let them enjoy it. There’s really not much for them to do–except bring down Victor by revealing his involvement in Adam’s death. But we know that’s never going to happen, so….
