Adam had a Daytime Emmy-baiting, black and white dream on The Young and the Restless. After all his relatives and women came to berate him, Adam (Mark Grossman) woke up and announced that’s it, he was going to be good from now on!
Young and the Restless Polling
But is anyone buying what he’s selling? We asked over 2,000 fans whether they believe Adam is really turning over a new leaf?
A majority 56% of you are all in. You feel confident that Adam has seen the error of his ways, and that he will no longer kidnap babies, switch out medications, plant bombs, steal trade secrets, and kiss one woman while pledging his devotion to another.
Perhaps his kidney was where all his evil impulses sprung from, and now that he’s gotten rid of it, he is free and clear. Faith (Reylynn Caster) will be the jealous, crazy psycho one, and Adam will be spending the bulk of his time doing good deeds and rescuing cats trapped in trees.
A smaller 39% are open to the idea of Adam turning over a new leaf. But you are equally as open to the idea of it turning back again. Adam has had moments of goodness before – usually in response to Conner (Judah Mackey) whining. But it rarely lasted long. Adam is a good boy as long as things are going his way. But when they’re not, suddenly those shortcuts start looking mighty good again.
Stay Just as You Are
Only 5% are not even willing to give Adam the benefit of the doubt. They know a leopard can’t change its spots, and an Adam can’t change his nature. He’ll talk a good game, and maybe even take a few, tepid steps in the direction of goodness and light. But eventually, he’ll get bored and revert to type.
