Many actors have come and gone from The Young And The Restless over the years in roles large and small. Now, this former soap opera star has committed a BIG heroic act in real-life!
Veteran actor Danny Trejo, who played a bartender on YR in 2008 in scenes with Eric Braeden (Victor), posted on Instagram that he stepped in after a car accident occurred in the greater Los Angeles area.
“I helped rescue a baby after driver ran red light, causing two-car crash in Sylmar,” Trejo posted.
KTLA reported that Trejo said the crash happened around 3 p.m. on August 7th and involved a sedan that allegedly ran a red light striking a Ford Explorer.
“A young lady had to crawl through the window because I couldn’t get the baby out — I couldn’t unbuckle the seat belt,” Trejo reported. “She got in and undid the seat belt, I pulled the baby out the other side.”
