As Tyra, Eva Marcille struck out on The Young and the Restless with Neil. (Will anyone ever hold a candle to Dru?) Now, Marcille’s entering a whole new soap opera world.
Us is reporting that the actress and mother is joining the cast of The Real Housewives of Atlanta.
“I’m so excited to join NeNe (Leakes) and the ladies for the 10th season of RHOA,” Marcille told the magazine, adding “Atlanta and America, get ready!”
Her Roster Of Roles
Marcille first came to the attention of audiences winning America’s Next Top Model, hosted by supermodel Tyra Banks, in 2004 before turning to acting. After appearing as Tyra (gee, who was she named after?) on Y&R, she went on to play roles in the films Crossover, I Think I Love My Wife, and Sister Code.

Backstory
Marcille has a daughter, Marley Rae, who is now 3-years-old, with her ex, Kevin McCall. No word yet on if her daughter will see any screen time on the reality series.
RHOA stars Porsha Williams, Sheree Whitfield, NeNe Leakes, Cynthia Bailey, Kandi Burruss, and Kenya Moore. In addition to Marcille, the new season of RHOA features the return of original cast members Leakes and Kim Zolciak.
The Real Housewives of Atlanta season 10 premieres on Bravo Sunday, November 5 at 8pm ET.
