Soap operas giveth and taketh away. The Young and the Restless (YR) fans were happy to see on Tuesday’s show that Elizabeth Hendrickson‘s Chloe apparently hasn’t gone to that great soap in the sky after all!
After Kevin delivered a powerful eulogy (can someone explain again why is Kevin’s portrayer Greg Rikaart leaving this show?), he saw an arm emerge from the casket, pushing it open revealing a very much alive “corpse” inside.
As if there was any doubt that Chloe’s indeed alive, the actress confirmed it herself via a social media platform, SparkIt.Buzz.
“Hi,” a bathrobe-clad Hendrickson greeted her followers. “Now that you know Chloe is actually alive, it’s time for me to tell you a little secret of mine.”
Secrets And Lies
The “secret” wasn’t actually how Chloe has faked her death, but it was something much more benign. “Every night before I work I take a long bath and I get into my robe and towel and I get into bed and study my lines.”
The actress continued that this is a regimen she’s following tonight because she’s still taping at the top-rated soap. “I’m working tomorrow.”

Such Sweet Sorrow
Alas, there was some sad news Hendrickson reported, too.
“Chloe is not dead, but this is my last week at the show,” she added.
Hendrickson invited her followers to ask her anything they might like to know while she can still share what’s going on at the show with them.
With the actress taping her last show tomorrow, she could air into mid to late July given the show’s production schedule.
Perhaps the show’s writers will give Kevin, Chloe, and their daughter Bella a happy ending by writing them out together.
