Parental support of a couple on soaps, as in life, is important. (Just ask Katie and Wyatt on The Bold and the Beautiful…) But even though Sharon’s thrilled to have her long lost baby girl, Mariah, back in her life, does that mean she’ll be okay with Mariah’s developing same-sex relationship with Tessa on The Young and the Restless?
Soap Hub asked if you think Sharon (Sharon Case) will give her support to the unlikely pair. Read on to see the answers!
The majority of you, just over 64%, feel that Sharon will not be welcoming Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) into the fold if she’s there because of Mariah (Camryn Grimes).
You feel that Sharon considers Tessa to be Noah’s girlfriend, so it doesn’t matter who the competition is — even if it is another woman and even if that other woman also happens to be Sharon’s child — Sharon’s going to stand by her firstborn son over the daughter she never knew she had.
Just under 36% of you feel that Sharon will support Mariah and Tessa’s union.
Sharon’s seen Noah’s heart be broken many times and if Tessa isn’t 100% committed to him then it would be best if the dynamic ended sooner rather than later.
Sharon’s feelings on same sex unions has yet to be explored, but we have no doubt that Sharon Case (Sharon) will play the scene with the same brilliance she brings to all of her work.
It’s not just Sharon who may end up weighing in on Mariah and Tessa’s dynamic. How will Noah react? Will he, as a guy, be more open to having a girlfriend who is “fluid?”
And what about Hilary? She’ll likely break in with a special report on The Hilary Hour once she finds out about Mariah and Tessa.
Then she’ll run every red light in Genoa City to get to Devon to learn his thoughts on having a girlfriend who may have a girlfriend.
