On The Young and the Restless, relationships have never been Mariah’s strong point. Every time she dives in, something pulls her back out.
She blames herself. What with being raised in a cult and then finding out your alleged mother stole you at birth. Wait, and then the guy you think of as your dad tries to marry you for your money…yeah, not a lot of trust there.
But Mariah (Camryn Grimes) finally thought she’d found The One with Tessa (Cait Fairbanks). Sure, Tessa lied to her about her sister. And she stole Mariah’s song. But Mariah went ahead and made Tessa an I Love You pumpkin, anyway.
Then she found out that Tessa was blackmailing Sharon (Sharon Case), Victoria (Amelia Heinle), Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott), and Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) about JT (Thad Luckinbill).
Tessa swore she’d give away the blackmail money to charity and turn over the flash drive with the evidence to Victoria.
She lied about that, too.
Mariah found out. Tessa turned on the waterworks. “But I love yooooooooou!”

Then, Nikki, Sharon, and Victoria kidnapped Tessa and left her on the side of a cold road. So, she turned on the waterworks again, and Mariah never wants to leave her side. But, is Mariah crazy for staying with Tessa? Almost 9,000 viewers have an opinion.
Get Away From Her!
It didn’t work, Tessa; 96% of the audience saw through your “poor, sad me” routine. They don’t want Mariah anywhere in your orbit. She trusted you. She gave you her heart. She carved you a pumpkin. And you, you claim you love her, too.
Even as you lie to her constantly and threaten to put her mom in prison. This is not how we express love, Tessa. Go back to Crystal. She seems to be the only one you do care about…without screwing over.
Give Peace a Chance
The heart wants what the heart wants, a tiny 4% of you remind, and if Mariah wants Tessa, she should have her. Maybe they actually can live happily ever after.
