Phyllis and her family hit a rough patch in recent months on The Young and the Restless. Although it looks like things have calmed and everyone is moving forward, more trouble could be on the way.
Trauma and Trouble
Heather’s (Vail Bloom) death and Daniel’s (Michael Graziadei) arrests are some of the problems that have plagued the Romalotti family. Sharon (Sharon Case) was the prime suspect in the murder and framing Daniel. However, it was later discovered that Ian (Ray Wise) and Jordan (Colleen Zenk) murdered Heather and pinned the crime on Sharon.
Now that Ian is faking dead and Jordan is really dead, and the truth has been revealed, everyone can move on. However, there’s one person who won’t let it go.
Phyllis Can’t Let Go
Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) was furious when Sharon’s charges were dropped because of Ian’s confession. She was skeptical about Ian being Heather’s killer and believed this was a tactic to keep Sharon from prison. Although Phyllis vowed revenge against her longtime rival, Daniel begged his mom to let it go. Phyllis agreed for Daniel’s sake, however, she’ll go back on her word.
Phyllis can’t forget the pain Sharon put her family through by framing Daniel for Heather’s murder. Deep down, Phyllis believes Sharon is guilty, and she’ll find evidence to prove she’s right. But Phyllis’ search for answers could bring more harm to Genoa City.
Her investigation will uncover that Ian isn’t dead. With Ian alive, Phyllis needs him to corroborate her theory that Sharon is responsible for Heather’s death. Ian, being the schemer he is, will see this as a gold opportunity to continue his diabolical plan.
Ian’s return will create more danger for Sharon, Mariah (Camryn Grimes), and the Newmans. But they’re not the only ones at risk. Daniel, Lucy (Lily Brooks O’Briant), and Summer (Allison Lanier) could also be caught in harm’s way. If more tragedy strikes because of Ian, Phyllis will wish she had minded her own business.
