One of the perks of having your birthday in August is that you don’t end up receiving any joint gifts in this holiday-free month!  That’s the case with Christian LeBlanc (Michael, The Young and the Restless).

He is celebrating his birthday today, August 25!

The handsome actor was born in Fort Bragg, South Carolina, where his father was stationed in the military.

LeBlanc is the second oldest of eight children, and he graduated from Tulane University. He was discovered by a photographer when he was swimming, and the shutterbug suggested LeBlanc try modeling.

From Oakdale To Genoa City
LeBlanc played the role of Kirk on As the World Turns starting in 1985. He returned to soaps in 1991 as Y&R’s Michael for a two-year stint which ended after he went to jail for sexually harassing Cricket.

The actor returned to the show in 1997 when, in a rare move for the top-rated soap, Michael was paroled and reformed! Fortunately, LeBlanc, a three-time Emmy-winner has been acting up a storm ever since!

Soap Hub wishes the social media-savvy actor a Happy Birthday along with many happy returns!
