Christian Jules Le Blanc has a magical connection with Tracey Bregman, which shows in their The Young and the Restless characters, Michael and Lauren, who are about to celebrate another anniversary. The two characters married on December 9, 2005, which means that Monday will be their 14th anniversary.

Le Blanc spoke exclusively with Soap Hub this past summer during his time at Marco Island. When the subject of his co-star and the success of their pairing came up, he was more than happy to talk on the subject and what happened was a beautiful tribute to both actress and the amazing character she portrays.
It was obvious to see the admiration he has for his longtime partner in crime as Le Blanc shared some of his favorite moments as well as why Bregman is such a force. “I always go back to that great saying Fred Astaire had about Ginger Rogers — Tracey does everything I do but backwards and in the highest heels, it’s some kind of freak circus act that she does every time she walks on set with these heels she has to negotiate.”

Honoring Lauren
The actor recalls the circumstances that kicked off the love story between Michael and Lauren, and you can see his eyes light up in the retelling of the slow burn of the story, courtesy of the writers. He also shares behind-the-scenes tidbits about how he and Bregman worked with one head writer on a story point, changing its outcome.
He also does a great job explaining how both characters had seen a lot of darkness — this wasn’t a teenage love story — and pays tribute to the very adult story they’ve been allowed to tell over their years together.
