On The Young and the Restless, Ashley is one of the few soap-opera heroines whose name isn’t instantly joined with that of her leading man. She’s popular on her own, not as part of a couple. But is that about to change? Over 5,000 viewers shared their thoughts on the potential Ashley and Ravi pairing.
Odd Couple
While Ashley was never only associated with a man, her romances with Victor (Eric Braeden), Brad (Don Diamont), Cole, Ridge from The Bold and the Beautiful, and even a dude named Blade had their fans. Not so with Ravi (Abhi Sinha). It seems that 67% of you believe this odd couple doesn’t match at all. Ashley has a tendency to overpower her co-stars, including the oft-thundering Victor. Soft-spoken, polite, sweet-natured Ravi doesn’t stand a chance.
Working Before Twerking
Ashley had a hard enough time dealing with it when she merely thought her employee Ravi was selling Jabot out to Phyllis (Gina Tognoni). How would she have reacted if her boyfriend Ravi was entertaining offers from other women… er, employers? For 23% of you, mixing business with pleasure is a very bad idea. It’s never worked for any Jabot couples — looking at you, Phyllis and Jack (Peter Bergman). Why would it work for Ashley and Ravi?

On the other hand, a small, vocal minority, 10% of fans, are shouting for Ashley (Eileen Davidson) and Ravi to go for it! Forget work, forget age, and cultural differences! Ravi looks like he could use some lessons in romance (hint: just grabbing a woman and kissing her is usually not the best way to go), and Ashley could prove to be a very good teacher. And besides, it’s always good to have Tech Support on call… day and night. Now the only obstacle is what should their couple name be? Ashi? RavAsh? Rashly?
