The Young and the Restless (YR) gave us the best Valentine’s Day by having Cane and Lily renew their wedding vows. This is news that their fan base has demanded ever since Cane took that fateful trip overseas that resulted in baby Sam.
Soap Hub asked if you’re happy that the pair is back together — or if they’d rather the pair remain conflicted.
Back To Where We Belong
The majority of you, over 72%, are glad that Cane (Daniel Goddard) and Lily (Christel Khalil) are making it work. Frankly, we’d have thought this was going to be a higher number given the duo’s passionate fan base.
Perhaps some of you feel that a reunited Cane and Lily will have less story. A duo apart appears more often than one that’s united!
Better Apart
The rest of you, over 27%, aren’t glad that Cane and Lily are working it out.
You may feel that the journey of getting back together is the best part of a reunion. What’s better than watching longing looks across a room, a couple wanting to reunite, but neither knowing how to take the first step?

Future Imperfect
Cane and Lily aren’t out of the woods yet. There are still lots of questions to be answered. Is baby Sam’s paternity going to be addressed? Why did the show drop in that line about Lily’s blood being a better match for Sam’s than Cane’s? Was it a throwaway line or is there some mystery detail yet to be revealed?
Cane and Lily can still have lots of screen time with stories that put them against a common threat!
