The truth about Abby and Scott’s sordid affair is out, and things are about to hit the fan on The Young and The Restless (YR). Sharon knows, and soon Abby may not know what–or who–hit her!
However, it’s possible that Abby (Melissa Ordway) and Scott (Daniel Hall) could end up feeling some relief now that they aren’t sneaking around hiding things. Then again, being found out could stop their budding romance in its tracks without the thrill of their illicit behavior to heat things up.
Perhaps the biggest question is, when the dust settles, will these two stay together or will they fizzle? Soap Hub posed the question, and here’s how you responded!
The Thrill Is Gone
A firm 57% of you believe that there’s no future in Genoa City for Abby and Scott’s love. Perhaps you believe their romance until now simply flourished because of its forbidden nature, or maybe you think that Scott will realize that he loves Sharon (Sharon Case) and pull out all the stops to win her back.
Who knows? Victor (Eric Braeden) could throw a wrench into things.
Even Abby herself could start to feel guilty over (once again) stealing a man and decide to step away and reevaluate her life choices — stranger things have happened.

Going To The Chapel
Still, 43% of you see true love in the future for this couple despite its less than auspicious start. You think this is finally the real deal for Abby. She’s had time to get over her failed marriage to Stitch (Sean Carrigan), and Scott is her true love (for now).
You think they’ll have flowers and romance, and ultimately marry, get the white picket fence (or some grand Newman version of it), 2.5 children and live happily ever after.
Oh wait, this is a soap, so perhaps they’ll have a tumultuous romance with rocky ups and downs instead! Either way, you think they will have some sort of relationship in the near future.
