On the March 19 episode of The Bold and the Beautiful, spoilers tease that Hope’s answer to Thomas’s marriage proposal causes an uproar between their two families. In a bad place to begin with, Steffy flips out when she hears the news. It’s sure to be an episode filled with family drama and high emotions.
Still Not Ready
B&B took viewers for a ride as Hope (Annika Noelle) and Thomas (Matthew Atkinson) seemed to be sailing off into the sunset. Everything was pointing towards a committed future together as Thomas pulled out all the stops in the romance department. The Italian dinner. The jaw-dropping dress. Everyone — including Thomas — expected Hope to accept his proposal joyfully and without hesitation. Even Hope’s mom, Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) warmed up to Thomas as the right man for Hope. (So don’t go blaming Brooke for interfering anymore.)
Unfortunately, Hope gave an unexpected reply. She got that same dazed and flattered but ultimately uncomfortable look on her face when Thomas initially proposed. Hope may simply still not be ready to marry again. In “Thomas time,” Hope seems like she is taking an eternity to give him what he wants. In “Hope time,” she is still newly divorced and enjoying their relationship — but not ready to make that commitment so soon.

Forresters Vs. Logans
Thomas may not take the perceived rejection so gracefully, nor will his family. Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) was so excited about his son’s happiness. He may not comprehend why Hope won’t say yes. Brooke will likely breathe a sigh of relief as she more than understands Hope’s hesitation. This could very well cause some friction in Brooke and Ridge’s otherwise blissful relationship.
Someone who will go straight from one to ten on the rage-o-meter over this is Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood). She is already in a PTSD state from stabbing Sheila (Kimberlin Brown) to death. To add insult to injury, Hope has played with Thomas’s emotions again (as Steffy sees it) and crushed his heart. How dare Hope continue to take her brother for granted?! The fragile balance that Hope and Steffy achieved could very well be a thing of the past.
