On the April 17 episode of The Bold and the Beautiful, spoilers tip off that RJ’s reaction to her night with Zende devastates Luna. Afterward, Poppy attempts to provide emotional support to Luna. Meanwhile, Hope and Liam decide to let Beth spend more time with her grandpa, Deacon. This should be an emotional, family-centered episode.
A Mother’s Love
RJ (Joshua Hoffman) didn’t take it in stride when he learned Luna (Lisa Yamada) slept with his Zende (Delon de Metz). RJ couldn’t even look at Luna after she told him. Then, he went on to physically attack his competitive cousin in a rage.
Luna fears that she deeply hurt RJ and that her relationship with him is kaput. It’s not fair! It wasn’t her fault! It’s all because of her mom’s stupid mints!
As Luna remains shellshocked, the person who tries to console her is none other than her mother, Poppy (Romy Park). Will Luna be receptive to Poppy’s support? After all, Poppy was the cause of this mess, to begin with. Despite feeling that her mom ruined her life, Luna may still need her. Will Luna find forgiveness in her heart for Poppy?

Grandpa Time
Hope (Annika Noelle) and Liam (Scott Clifton) continue to spend more time together as a happy family with their daughter, Beth (Jordyn Lynn Ariza). In the midst of their re-connection, the topic of Deacon (Sean Kanan) must surface. Everyone is more than a bit concerned for Deacon since Sheila (Kimberlin Brown) died. But with Sheila out of the picture, Hope and Liam feel safe to let Beth spend more time with her grandpa, Deacon.
Although Deacon is preoccupied with thinking Sheila is alive, this could be very welcome news for him. Will Deacon focus on his family and enjoy spending more time with Beth? Or will he continue to be haunted by “Sheila’s” ten toes?
