The Bold and the Beautifulrecap for March 5: Hope had it out with Carter, Daphne Rose was ready to run off, Steffy stood her ground, and Finn has another bomb waiting to drop.
What Happened Today On The Bold and the Beautiful?
Over in the design room, Zende (Delon de Metz) questioned Daphne Rose (Murielle Hilaire) about her plans to return to Paris. What about the fragrance line launch? Well, Daphne Rose can man it from across the pond. But, what about the plan to get her claws into Carter (Lawrence Saint-Victor) and steal him from Hope (Annika Noelle)? Well, that’s a lot stickier, isn’t it? It didn’t take more than a few minutes for Zende to realize Daphne Rose has feelings for the company head.
Across the hall, Hope made it crystal clear she saw everything that went down between him and Daphne Rose and demanded answers. How could he kiss that woman? Carter tried to blame it all on the perfumer, but Hope wasn’t having it. This was HIS mess, too.

Things between them got tense when Carter admitted he’s been opening up to the powerhouse player. Hope did not like hearing he was spending so much time giving so much attention to Daphne Rose, but to hear he was confiding in her, too?! Well, that had Hope fuming. She went a bit off the rails. She picked up Daphne Roses’s choker and threw it at Carter before storming out.
And where did Hope run off to? Across the hall, of course! She walked in the room, shut the door, and confronted Daphne Rose about falling for Carter!
Fathers and Daughters
Meanwhile, Luna (Lisa Yamada) stood in amazement that she’s finally got herself a dad. And, for it to be someone she already knows and loves? That’s great! The fact that her father is also her cousin didn’t sit well, though. It also didn’t sit well that she tried to kill Steffy (Jaqueline MacInnes Wood) all those months ago. Oh, if she had only known Steffy was her step-mother.
Luna asked the tough questions. Will her past ruin their future? She asked if Finn could even see her as a daughter instead of a cold-blooded killer who tried to destroy his life. Finn’s only answer was to hug her and say goodbye to go take care of Steffy.
Will True Love Win?
Back at the Cliff House, Taylor (Rebecca Budig) and Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) stood in agreement that it would be safer for her and the kids to move into the family home. They listed all their reasons and shared their panic and worry. Steffy was not swayed. She stood firm in her commitment to Finn (Tanner Novlan). She trusts her husband and is confident he’ll protect her and the children.
Taylor and Ridge returned to the mansion to gripe about Steffy trusting her husband. They agreed they can’t give up trying to keep their daughter safe. Good thing they don’t have to worry too hard since Luna’s in prison…right? Oh, if they only knew.
As for Steffy…she was replaying Luna’s attempt to kill her and Finn’s heroic rescue. When he came home, she told him about her parent’s concerns and her commitment to their life and family. Finn stopped her and informed her there was something else she needed to know about Luna.
