Ivy has lost the battle on Bold and the Beautiful. But she may not have given up the war. The Forrester jeweler stood her ground in the Monday, April 20 episode when Electra confronted her. Ivy admitted that she wouldn’t go back and change what she did.

Ashleigh Brewer Explains Ivy’s New Attitude
In her view, meddling in her niece’s love life is part of protecting her. Bearing that perspective in mind, Ivy isn’t likely to back off when it comes to who Electra should be with. A recent Soaps.com interview with Ashleigh Brewer seems to back the idea that Ivy isn’t going to go quietly when it comes to her niece’s heart.
When Ivy (Brewer) first arrived on the scene, she wasn’t a wallflower by any means. But she had a more laid-back, go-with-the-flow attitude. Time has changed that more carefree part of her personality. While Ivy blames her past entanglements with the Spencers, Brewer highlighted off-screen reasons for Ivy’s change. She told Soaps.com:
Ivy has lived a lot of life since we last saw her in L.A. I don’t think we’ve even scratched the surface of what she is capable of.
What that life entailed, B&B viewers have yet to be brought up to speed on. But fans do know that her love life hasn’t panned out the way she hoped. Ivy’s connection to Liam (Scott Clifton) has always been lopsided in his favor. She knows what it’s like to be someone’s second choice, and she doesn’t want that for her niece. However, how she’s going about protecting Electra (Laneya Grace) leaves a lot to be desired.
An Ivy and R.J. Team-Up Could Be Coming
Brewer’s tease means that what we’ve seen so far of Ivy’s meddling may only be the tip of the iceberg. Ivy stole Electra’s letter, made her think Will (Crew Morrow) had broken up with her, pushed her to date R.J. (Brayan Nicoletti), and posted a photo of the two of them on Electra’s social media without her consent.
Ivy lobbed empty threats at Daphne (Murielle Hilaire) and attempted to get Will and Dylan (Sydney Bullock) fired. What else could she possibly do now that Electra knows the truth?
Honestly, Ivy’s likely to keep pestering Electra about what she believes is best for her. If Will and Electra do reconcile, it wouldn’t change the connections they forged with other people.
Will still cares deeply for Dylan, and Electra developed a bond with R.J. While it’s possible that Dylan will give the couple space, R.J. doing so seems out of the cards. He’s been just as determined to keep Electra away from Will as Ivy has been.
With the jeweler and the Forrester heir on the same page, it makes sense that the two could work together to achieve the same goal. R.J. is the man Ivy believes Electra deserves. He’s also so besotted that he’s overstepped his boundaries more than once in Electra’s personal life.
The truth coming out about the letter doesn’t mean Ivy’s meddling is over. It might have opened the door to a new alliance that brings more tension to Forrester Creations instead of fresh designs.
