Poor Finn! Just when he thought life couldn’t get more complicated, he discovered that Luna wasn’t just his (adopted) cousin; she was also his daughter. Talk about a Bold and the Beautiful bombshell! One passionate night with his adopted aunt Poppy has turned his world upside down. The moral high ground says he should march straight home and tell Steffy everything, but doing the “right thing” might cost him everything.

Silence is Golden, Finn!

Steffy (Jacquline MacInnes Wood) already has Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown)as a mother-in-law, which is a nightmare in itself. Now imagine her finding out that her husband not only had a secret affair years ago but that the product of that affair is Luna – the same young woman who once kidnapped her and plotted her demise! At some point, the universe has to give Steffy a break, right? Unfortunately, if Finn confesses, it won’t be anytime soon.

A Deal with the Devil (Or Just Poppy)

So, what’s a conflicted doctor to do? He could risk it all and tell Steffy, or he could strike a deal with Poppy (Romy Park) and take this secret to the grave. Some may call it deceit, but in Finn’s case, it might be the only way to keep his life intact.

If he comes clean, there’s a good chance Steffy will pack her bags faster than you can say “Forrester Creations.” After all, she’s been through enough deceptions to last a lifetime. Why would she stay with a man whose mother and daughter have both tried to take her out?

Steffy isn’t exactly known for being forgiving. Her love for Finn may be strong, but so is her sense of betrayal. By keeping quiet, Finn can hold onto the family he loves and avoid adding more fuel to the already raging fire that is his life. Would it be the most ethical choice? Absolutely not. But when has anyone in Los Angeles ever been about making the morally sound decision?

Finn has always been the good guy, the one who does the right thing. But, maybe, just maybe, it’s time he learns that in this family, secrets aren’t just a way of life. They’re survival.
