Everybody’s got an opinion…especially where their favorite daytime drama is concerned – and Soap Hub is no different. For five days we sat and watched the good, the bad, and everything in between, and now we offer you a handy review, and a cheeky critique, of The Bold and the Beautiful’s week that was.

The Bold and the Beautiful: Week In Review

It is SO satisfying to see and hear disreputable characters getting told all about themselves. Hope (Annika Noelle) rightfully pointed out to Liam (Scott Clifton) that men don’t seek out and sleep with their exes unless there are still lingering feelings of love and devotion.

Then she rightfully called out Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) for wallowing in the memory of her and Liam’s (supposedly) dormant romance and for allowing the much-lamented night of passion to happen in the first place. And bully for Hope and her sly rebuke of the Hayes women’s propensity for calling Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) a slut when Steffy is just as willing to pursue and bed a married man. Yes, we’re looking at you Bill Spencer (Don Diamont)!

And Finn’s (Tanner Novlan) total dressing down of Liam was nothing sort of brilliant. Not only did he dilute his rival’s quagmire down to its very essence – a complete lack of respect for Hope and his marriage vows – but he also issued a warning of epic proportions. The relationship between Liam and Steffy, as he knows it, is over. Done and dusted.

Here’s hoping that someone, anyone, be it Hope, Finn, Steffy, or even the never-seen Amelia finally takes that ridiculous photo of Liam and Steffy taken during happier times.

And speaking of ridiculous things, idiotic happenings, and disreputable characters, Zoe’s (Kiara Barnes) decided that her best course of action is to just come right out and offer herself to Zende (Delon de Metz). Mere hours after her fiancé asked her to set a wedding date.

It screams of desperation, and, quite frankly, it’s all very disgusting. Zoe clearly doesn’t know a good thing when she has it. Carter (Lawrence Saint-Victor) deserves much better.

Further BB Musings

Did Zende really say that he grew up in the Forrester Creations building? When? He spent the majority of his childhood in an African orphanage. Soon after Kristen and Tony adopted him, the trio headed for Florida. The Bold and the Beautiful airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
