Season one of The Walking Dead had many heart wrenching moments, but also a few happy ones despite all the insanity and chaos that a zombie apocalypse can bring.
Rick was separated from his family at the very beginning of the series, waking up alone in a hospital and finding the world as he knew it had completely changed.

Apparently, Rick’s wife and son got that lucky and in a moment of sheer shock, they laid eyes on one another again when Rick was brought to a new camp. Relive that pivotal moment in the video above.
