Former The Young and the Restless star Greg Rikaart seems to have a new gig lined up with a mystery Salem role.
According to TV Line, the Emmy-winning and beloved Y&R star has landed a recurring part on Days of Our Lives (DOOL), but there’s no word yet on who he’ll play.
Rikaart was let go from his contract role of Kevin Fisher on Y&R earlier this year, but recently made a return appearance to be a listening ear for Mariah–and do Victor’s dirty work.
TV Line claims DAYS has confirmed the actor will be joining the NBC soap, but has offered no further details.

This is yet another casting coup for DAYS, a soap bringing back Chandler Massey and Alison Sweeney this month, as well as creating a new role for former General Hospital star Tyler Christopher.
Apparently, his DAYS role won’t prevent him from making more appearances as Kevin on Y&R. Tristan Rogers also appears on both Y&R and GH, Wally Kurth recurs on DAYS and GH, and event Eileen Davidson will also play double Salem and Genoa City duty soon.
With soaps, it’s a small world after all, for sure.
