Emmy GOLD: The Talk Honors Emmy Winners!

The Talk continued its annual post-Daytime Emmys talk show this year with tributes to all the acting winners from the 45th Annual Daytime Emmys! Among the actors visiting the CBS talk show today were Days of Our Lives’ James Reynolds (Abe) and The Young and the Restless’ Eileen Davidson (Ashley)!

The two actors weren’t the only ones celebrating. The Talk won the Daytime Emmy for Outstanding Talk Show Entertainment on Sunday night!

Davidson, a previous winner for her role as Kristen on DAYS, said she was genuinely surprised by her win for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series, thinking she wasn’t going to be the victor this year.

The actress raved about Reynolds (whom she knows from her time on DAYS as Kristen, Susan, et. al.) and how happy she is that he won for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series.

Reynolds paid tribute to past African American winners in the lead actor category, including Darnell Williams (ex-Jesse, All My Children) and the late Al Freeman, Jr. (Ed, One Life to Live).
