He’s had a doppelganger on (remember Caleb?) The Young and the Restless, but now Daniel Goddard has a double in real life on social media and the actor wants his fans to know about this fake account!
It appears that someone has created a fake account using Goddard’s name, pretending to be him, offering fans a personalized greeting if they pay for it!
Goddard, who plays Cane Ashby on the top-rated soap, wants his followers to know that this isn’t him and he doesn’t want hard-working folks to be scammed out of their hard-earned wages!
Check out Goddard’s tweet below from his official authentic account (which has a blue circle and a white check mark inside it) in which he alerts his social media followers about the false entity!
This isn’t the first social media scam this year and likely won’t be the last. Goddard has been targeted before, as have Y&R’s Doug Davidson, Kristoff St. John, and General Hospital’s Ryan Paevey, among others.
