All three broadcast networks didn’t air their soap operas and other shows on their daytime lineup due to Christine Blasey Ford’s testimony before the Senate judiciary committee regarding Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh.
While there were breaks in the proceedings, the networks decided to stay with news reports, but the soaps we would have seen today will be shown in full tomorrow, as is typical with nationwide pre-emptions.
General Hospital was the first show to officially announce pushing everything back a day, but maybe there will be fewer re-runs next summer due to news pre-emptions. (GH claimed there weren’t enough special reports in 2018, which was why we saw Nathan’s funeral play out again a few weeks ago.)
So, tune in tomorrow and see what happens with Jason and Sam, Nick and Sharon, Sami and Stefan, and Will’s custody.
