Rena Sofer has added a tattoo to her body, but it’s not an arbitrary addition. She says her new body art has very special significance!
The tattoo design was created by none other than her daughter Rosabel, whom she shares with her former General Hospital co-star, Wally Kurth (Ned; Justin, Days of Our Lives). The two met and married when she played Lois on the ABC show though the two are now divorced and she’s on The Bold and the Beautiful as Quinn.
If you look at the crown in the art, you can see it spells out the word MAMA. “The crown says what I am,” Sofer says.
The B&B writers will decide whether or not Quinn ever gets a tattoo and the makeup department can certainly cover anything up in the meantime, but off-screen, Sofer proudly displays her new body art.
“I’ve thought about this for years so it wasn’t a snap decision and while I’ve had many tattoos in my life this is my most meaningful [one]. Thank you Rosabel for the amazing art.”
