Soap opera fans know that when toddlers suddenly turn into young teens and start popping up like crazy in your favorite fictional towns, it means that summer is here.
Every show beefs up their teen scene in anticipation of young kids being off school and wanting to see people who look like them on TV.
That’s how we ended up with stories like love on the run and every kind of Romeo and Juliet rip-off.
Knowing that this was coming, Soap Hub asked which soap’s teen scene are you most excited to watch this summer. Your answers were seemingly split.
General Hospital (GH)
After over 3,000 votes were tallied, 32% are most excited to see what GH has in store, more than likely with a rebellious Josslyn (Eden McCoy).
She’s spitting mad at her mother for not kicking Sonny (Maurice Benard) out of her life for good, and she’s going to make everyone miserable.

The Young and the Restless (YR)
It seems that 28% can’t wait to see what develops between Reed (Tristan Lake Leabu) and the Ashby siblings.
There may be love with one and an epic battle with the other. And, of course, that will eventually put their parents at odds, and you can’t wait!
The Bold and the Beautiful (BB)
Meanwhile 22% adore those B&B cuties, RJ (Anthony Turpel) and Coco (Courtney Grosbeck). They are the literal Romeo and Juliet story since their warring families of the Forresters and Spectras is currently front and center on the show. Will their love survive?
Days of Our Lives (DOOL)
Still 18% are excited to see what mischief Jade (Gabrielle Haugh) gets into, along with Claire (Olivia Rose Keegan) and Theo (Kyler Pettis). Sure, they’re on the edge of teendom, about to leave it, but for now they are the only game in town.
