It’s hard to believe but the year 2007 was over a decade ago! The soaps were on fire that year as there were confrontations, shootings, conflicts and other assorted dramatic moments that captivated viewers!

In the video accompanying this post, you can see all kinds of powerful moments in a year that had more soaps and more dramatic scenes!

At Georgie’s (Lindsay Leatherman) funeral on General Hospital, Maxie (Kirsten Storms) ripped into their mother Felicia (Kristina Wagner) over her regular absence in their lives. (Why Storms didn’t win an Emmy for this powerhouse performance remains a mystery!) Most of Port Charles turned out for the service and you can see Tracy (Jane Elliot) being so sad for Maxie and everyone as she sits solemnly in a pew.

Another scene from 2007 was a slapfest involving Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) on The Bold and the Beautiful, but it wasn’t an instance in which Brooke was Stephanie’s (Susan Flannery) punching bag. Instead, Brooke did the slapping and her scene partner wasn’t Steph — but Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson), who had taken up temporary residence in Los Angeles.

Another powerhouse moment from 2007 was on Days of Our Lives when Marlena (Deidre Hall) went over to see Stefano (Joe Mascolo) to confront him over the death of her beloved John (Drake Hogestyn). Marlena was all dressed up — she’d just come from the wedding of her daughter Belle (Martha Madison) to Shawn (Brandon Beemer) — and she vowed to go after Stefano with a vengeance. She whispered her vow in the Phoenix’s ear, which made her promise all the more chilling.

There are other great moments from 2007 in this video including an emotional reunions among loved ones involved in a structure collapse on The Young and the Restless and Stephanie being shot on B&B. They are not to be missed!
