Paul Wesley is a film and television actor who is best known for playing multiple roles on The Vampire Diaries, but most noticeably Stefan Salvatore. He also got his start on soaps.

Who Is Paul Wesley?
Wesley was born on July 23 in New Brunswick, New Jersey and grew up in that state’s Marlboro Township. His parents immigrated to the States from Poland, so Wesley speaks Polish and spent a lot of time there while growing up. He attended Christian Brothers Academy and Marlboro High School, as well as Rutgers University. However, he dropped out of college after one semester to focus on acting.
Soap Beginnings
While he was a junior in high school, Wesley was cast on Guiding Light as the character Max Nickerson and was on the show for a couple of years. Prior to that, he made an appearance on Another World as Sean McKinnon.

Biggest Regret
The actor revealed he got assigned community service after getting in a fight in high school and was supposed to complete 20 hours in one week. However, he convinced the librarian to write off that he had finished the community service, even though he never did. The moment still haunts him, and he wishes he could go back and finish the hours.
Craziest Fan Gift
It’s no surprise that playing a vampire on a popular teen show brings out the devotion in fans, but Wesley has had some particularly interesting encounters with Vampire Diaries viewers. The handsome actor revealed a fan sent him a box full of Polish sausages for literally no reason and it’s still to this day the weirdest thing he’s been given.
Getting Personal With Paul Wesley
Wesley began dating actress Torrey DeVitto in 2007 after they met on Killer Movie, and the couple married on April 16, 2011. However, they split up two years later. He then began dating his former Vampire Diaries co-star Phoebe Tonkin in 2013, but they called it quits in 2017. He is currently married to Ines de Ramon, whom he married in February of 2019.
